📅 - Web hosting provider 1&1 Internet (1and1.com) announced on Tuesday that in light of its 20th anniversary it is offering a 50 percent discount on all of its packages.
1&1 is currently offering US customers a discount for the first three months and it applies to all packages including Web hosting from $2.00 per month, servers from $49.50 per month and Microsoft Exchange from $3.50 per month.
"1&1 has successfully driven markets through offering the best specification packages at ground breaking prices," says Andreas Gauger, chairman of the board at 1&1 Internet. "By expanding our services to further markets, 1&1 will be able to deliver innovative and reliable services to a greater number of consumers worldwide."
Founded in 1988, 1&1 says it pioneered the 'one-stop-shop' approach to Web solutions and due to its scale and technical heritage, the company can deliver an unrivalled combination of value-added services and technological expertise. 1&1 currently manages more than seven million customer contracts, nine million registered domains and 81 million email accounts.
Funambol recently began working with 1&1 to develop a new push email and personal information management synchronization solution for the mass market.
