May, 2001 : Internap Launches Channel Partner Program

📅 - Internet connectivity and routing company Internap Network Services unveiled a new partner program today in order to expand its services into strategically important businesses.
The new program is aimed at Internap partners who provide various Internet-based services, including system integrators, technology developers, Application Service Providers (ASPs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
The Channel Partner Program will feature four distinct components: training, referral, agent and reseller. It is designed to help Internap's partners create, build and maintain relationships in which partners can exchange leads, develop industry-related solutions and deliver joint services if desired in order to benefit customers.
"As enterprises migrate important applications and strive to achieve cost savings over the public Internet, Internap is strategically aligning itself with complementary technology and service providers offering greater overall value to the customer," said John Bigelow, Internap's Vice President of Alternate Channels. "We think that the enhanced sales reach will help drive revenues for Internap in the months and years ahead."
Internap is a full-service connectivity and content delivery company that has developed patented route management technology. Internap's technologies allow for direct data transmission across major Internet backbones through a single connection from a customer's network to one of Internap's service points.
