📅 - Digital River, Inc. (http://www.digitalriver.com), a leading global e-commerce outsource provider, today announced that it is building, managing and hosting e-commerce operations for Hitachi Software Global Technology (http://www.hsgt.com), a leading developer of imaging and raster-to-vector conversion software for Computer aided design and geographic information systems.

As part of the agreement, Digital River is providing transaction management,digital product fulfilment and 24x7 customer service for HSGT's recentlylaunched e-commerce site.

The new site introduces HSGT's FeatureXTR software application, which thecompany says offers a fast and easy way to extract features from satelliteand aerial imagery. FeatureXTR supports HSGT's Image Series softwareproducts developed for imaging and feature extraction for CAD and GIS data.
"We were seeking an outsource provider, but we gained a partner," saidRobert Carroll, HSGT's vice president of sales. "Digital River offered areliable, proven e-commerce infrastructure. The company has developed theautomated business processes that make buying over the Internet a seamlessprocess for our end-customers."
