Aug 6, 2002 : Citrix Announces New Incentive Programs
📅 - Citrix Systems, Inc. (citrix.com), a leader in virtual workplace software and services, announced it will adopt an open licensing model, reduce its current channel relationships, and offer incentive programs forU.S. resellers who are focused on adding value to customers and increasing demand for Citrix products.
In a move designed to give Citrix Solutions Network (CSN) members greater support, Citrix will launch a new channel incentive program to support U.S. partners who deliver value to customers in their initial exposure to Citrix products and manage customer satisfaction over the deployment and use of Citrix products.
Citrix offers two families of products that enable virtual access to information: Application Server software, including MetaFrame XP, MetaFrame for Windows and MetaFrame for UNIX; and Access Portal software, including NFuse Elite, NFuse Classic and Enterprise Services for NFuse. The software is designed to digitize and automate office functions.
The firm will also launch a new licensing program in the fourth quarter. Resellers will gain the advantage of an electronic licensing option to best suit the needs of their customers.
"We're taking steps immediately and over this quarter to tap into the wisdom of our high-value channel partners to ensure that we deliver programs that leverage their strengths in meeting customer expectations," said Mark Templeton, president and CEO of Citrix. "Our goal is to introduce incentive programs and licensing options that are even better than industry best practices when they are released."
