📅 August 13, 2002 - Internet security specialist Comodo (comodo.net) announced on Monday that its Web identity assurance product TrustLogo has been a success with both customers and partners.

Comodo says its TrustLogo SSL offering has affirmed itself as an essential technology for e-commerce enabled Web sites. Using a dynamically supported logo placed on Web sites, TrustLogo provides confidence to site visitors.
TrustLogo is deployed using Comodo's Point to Verify technology, which allows visitors to request a real-time identity verification of the site displaying the TrustLogo, just by hovering their mouse over the logo. The site's identity is verified using Comodo's IdAuthority assurance infrastructure.
"TrustLogo is essential for any Web site that takes its customer concerns about safe and secure online shopping seriously." says Paul Tourret, managing director of Comodo Ltd. (Equinix.com) and service provider IBM (IBM.com) announced on Tuesday that IBM will use Equinix's Internet exchange services to support secure Web operations for US enterprises.
