Aug 12, 2002 : Digex Launches ClientCentral 3.0


📅 - Managed hosting service provider Digex Inc. (digex.com) announced on Monday that it has launched ClientCentral 3.0, a series of upgrades to the company's customer portal.

The third edition of the portal, says Digex, offers customers access to near real-time statistics on site performance through a Web browser, providing businesses with timely and accurate information with which to make decisions.
First launched in 2000, Digex says ClientCentral is an interactive self-service customer portal designed to provide enterprises with tools for accessing information on Internet operations. Built on an XML framework, the application is able to "plug in" to Digex, allowing real-time interaction with the company's monitoring, performance, billing and support systems.
"Digex designed ClientCentral to work as a virtual extension of a corporation's IT department," says Tom Walton, vice president of engineering at Digex. "With our latest version, Digex can further provide clients the desired usability and real-time information that is critical to e-business planning and decision making in a format that is accessible and flexible."
