📅 - Application traffic management solution developer F5 Networks Inc. (F5.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Monday that it has released the newest version of its BIG-IP Link Controller, along with the introduction of a new customer in the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS).
The updated BIG-IP Link Controller, which manages inbound and outbound traffic over multiple ISP links to provide customers with reliable network connections, is available on two new platforms, says F5, the BIG-IP 1000 and 2400 IP Application Switches, to address a wider range of enterprise traffic types and levels.
According to F5, the BIG-IP Link Controller has been enhanced with new features designed to make it more effective. Among the new features are: L2 bridging support; a new GUI, including link setup wizards for simplified administration; and enhanced ?Price' load balancing, allowing customers to lower bandwidth spending.
"The BIG-IP Link Controller has been well received by our customers worldwide and we've incorporated their feedback to make it even easier for businesses to gain complete flexibility in scaling their bandwidth and eliminate over-provisioning to make better use of their connections," says Erik Giesa, senior director of product management at F5 Networks. "With the BIG-IP Link Controller, fail-over is instantaneous because issues are quickly detected and isolated, and users can immediately be routed over other links. And, we've added two new BIG-IP Application Switch platforms to address a broader range of customer requirements."
