Feb, 2003 : Digex Hosts Global Reports Finance Database

📅 February 18, 2003 - Managed Web and application hosting provider Digex Incorporated (digex.com) announced on Tuesday that it has been selected by international annual report filings archive operator Global Reports LLC has chosen Digex to host its online infrastructure, including its extensive Global Reports Library.

Global Reports, says Digex, pairs an extensive database of international financial filings in PDF format with a search engine and flexible methods for delivery. The Global Reports Library contains current and historical annual reports for every major index constituency and exchange in the world. The Library, says Digex, has more than 500,000 electronic and paper reports, supplying up to 30 years of financial history for some companies.
Digex says it is managing the entire application on a secure, reliable and scalable environment. The Global Reports platform is built on a multi-server Windows 2000 environment with a SQL Server database. Using Digex's e-Enablement Solution for online information management, Global Reports will be able to handle requirements from users doing serious financial and investment research.
