📅 - Internet security specialist TruSecure Corporation (trusecure.com) announced on Tuesday that it has acquired security service provider Vigilinx and its flagship security intelligence service and platform IntelliShield.
According to TruSecure, the combination of the two companies will deepen TruSecure's roster of security intelligence, security assurance, security assessment, managed security and consulting services, advancing TruSecure's position in the security intelligence and services markets.
TruSecure says Intellishield will provide the platform for TruSecure to integrate and automate the delivery of its services in a format customized against the enterprise and application assets of each TruSecure customer. The new combined service will allow administrators to manage real-time security postures against new threats and vulnerabilities.
"Controlling security risk is a key issue appearing on the agenda of every corporate boardroom and government agency worldwide," said John Becker, CEO and chairman of TruSecure Corporation. "The biggest obstacle to reducing this risk is collecting, validating, and determining the relevance of vast amounts of security information, and if relevant, disseminating that intelligence and properly implementing measures to improve the security posture of the organization.
