Mar 4, 2003 : Inflow Datacenter Audit Helps NFIB Save

📅 March 4, 2003 - Managed Web hosting and IT services provider Inflow Inc. (inflow.com) announced on Tuesday that its Datacenter Audit program was extremely successful in helping to streamline operations for the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NIFB).

NFIB, says Inflow, was looking at upgrading its facility in several areas, including server consolidation, disk storage management, increased cooling and greater UPS capacity, in order to increase efficiency and meet the organization's growing needs. Before beginning upgrades, NFIB chose to undergo an audit, asking Inflow to evaluate the critical components of data center infrastructure, IT systems and operational processes.
Inflow found that NFIB could benefit from incorporating changes to the physical property, physical security, power infrastructure, fire protection system, HVAC and the network and data storage architecture.
"We were happy to help NFIB identify areas for improvement via our audit services," said David Klements, general manager for Inflow in Nashville.
