Mar 5, 2003 : Star Internet Appoints New Executive

📅 March 5, 2003 - Independent UK-based business Internet solutions provider Star Internet (star.net.uk) announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Simon Coulshaw to the post of sales and marketing director, making him responsible for driving the Star Internet brand within its key target market sectors.

Coulshaw, says Star, will work alongside Ben White, the company's CEO, to create a new sales and marketing strategy to build on the company's existing successes and strengthen its market position.
Star says Coulshaw brings 17 years experience in the IT sector to his new position at Star Internet. In previous work with the business communications division of AT&T, he served as sales manager for South Africa,sales director and managing director of the Middle East and Africa region, as well as working on building global alliances from the UK.
"We are delighted to have Simon on our team," says Ben White, CEO of Star Internet. "His range and depth of experience will be of great benefit to Star. Simon's innovative and dedicated approach to this role will help us strengthen our excellent position in the ISP marketplace."
