Jul, 2003 : Vsecure Signs Arces Network for Reseller Program

📅 July 16, 2003 - Vsecure Technologies Inc. (v-secure.com), a developer of advanced network security intrusion prevention products, announced today that Arces Network (arces.net), a security solutions provider, has signed an agreement to join its reseller program.

Arces Network was one of the first companies to evaluate Vsecure's NetProtect Enterprise Intrusion Detection appliance, successfully deploying it in a Web hosting environment.
"The Vsecure NetProtect appliances have been like magic for us," reported Adrian Goins, CEO of Arces Network. "My engineers are able to provide a significantly higher level of security to our customers because traditional Intrusion Detection Systems have proven to be extremely labor intensive."
In January 2003, Arces? customers using the NetProtect Enterprise were completely defended against the "SQL Slammer" server.

"Their comprehensive evaluation of our products and suggestions for new features have been invaluable in our efforts to enter the network security market in the USA. According to the terms of the notice, Feature Price officials have until Thursday, July 17 to vacate the premises. Atlantic.net has also filed a small claims complaint against Feature Price with Clerk County Court in Lee County, Florida. The docket was dated July 2, 2003. The complaint calls for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against Feature Price and four other defendants. Details about the complaint have not been revealed.
