Jul, 2003 : i3DataCenter Announces first VPS Customer

📅 July 16, 2003 - ZooLink Corporation's (zoolink.com) wholly owned subsidiary i3DataCenters (i3datacenters.com) announced yesterday it has signed its first virtual private server (VPS) customer, Tourism Vancouver.

"Tourism Vancouver came to us with a need that traditional Web hosting could no longer accommodate yet wasn't resource-intensive enough to require a full-blown dedicated server," said Ali Shawkat, president of ZooLink Corporation. "i3DC offers the VPS as an additional component to our wide variety of managed services. Our goal is to ensure our customers have many options available to them no matter what the scope of their hosting needs."
According to Tourism Vancouver, its needs fit closely with a VPS solution.
"ZooLink has been providing services to us for a few years now and we have been extremely pleased with their work,? said Abdullah Abdullah of Tourism Vancouver. "The VPS fits our needs precisely and ZooLink demonstrated the benefits we would receive from it."
ZooLink operates data centers in Vancouver, British Columbia and Calgary, Alberta. It provides wired and wireless broadband Internet services, managed hosting and managed data center services to customers in Canada and the United States.

According to the terms of the notice, Feature Price officials have until Thursday, July 17 to vacate the premises. Atlantic.net has also filed a small claims complaint against Feature Price with Clerk County Court in Lee County, Florida. The docket was dated July 2, 2003. The complaint calls for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against Feature Price and four other defendants. Details about the complaint have not been revealed.
