Van Zele will leave the firm on September 30. "The board thanks him most warmly for the leadership that he has given the firm in difficult circumstances and wishes him the very best in his future career," the company said in a release. Van Zele will be replaced by Ronald Everaert, who led Mercator Bank & Verzekeringen for 16 years and joined the board of Telindus in 1994. Founded in 1969, the Telindus Group currently employs approximately 2,200 people in 16 countries. The company provides a wide range of network-based services that include network applications and access solutions.
