📅 - Private label Web hosting firm Inquent Technologies (inquent.com) has been sold to Mallory Ventures Inc., a Massachusetts-based technology holding firm.
Mallory Ventures' portfolio also includes Inforonics, a managed services provider that specializes in application management and support, and several other technology companies. Few details were released on the terms of the agreement, though an Inquent representative said Wednesday that more details would be forthcoming. Abacus Capital Partners LLC, a financial advisory firm, assisted Mallory with the transaction. "Even though the term is overused, InQuent truly brings a world-class organization with the best private-label hosting platform in the industry. It's a great example of the set of superb technology infrastructure companies that Mallory is assembling," said JonathanRubin, Managing Director, who led the Abacus team. Toronto, Canada-based Inquent provides wholesale hosting services to several large ISPs and telecommunication firms, including Bell Canada and DSL.net. The company sold its retail Web hosting customers to Radiant Communications last year.
