According to LinkSouce, it joined the SAVVIS business partner program and will begin selling SAVVIS? managed IP and hosting services. "We are excited to designate SAVVIS as our preferred managed services provider," said Curt Lewis, principal of LinkSource. "SAVVIS' heritage in the financial services sector gives them a clear leg up in delivering mission critical IP network performance. Their ability to layer multiple applications as utilities results in incremental savings which compliments our strategy to provide the most aggressive pricing possible for services and tailor them to each customer's unique needs." SAVVIS said the partnership with LinkSource will help it expand its market reach and compete in the highly competitive telco space. "With their experience with voice, data and Internet services, LinkSource will further enhance our ability to compete with the largest global carriers," said Jack Finlayson, president & COO of SAVVIS. "Superior business partners such as LinkSource open new sales channels and broaden our reach worldwide." SAVVIS also signed on telecommunications consulting firm Communication Management Services (CMS) as a preferred managed services provider earlier this month.
