Nov, 2003 : Apollo Hosting Releases Hosting Solution Suite

📅 November 6, 2003 - Apollo Hosting (apollohosting.com -> verio.com) released Total Solutions this week, a suite of marketing, e-commerce and site building tools that will be included in all of the company's shared and virtual private server hosting packages. The Austin, Texas-based company said Total Solutions will also be available for its dedicated hosting packages, which are expected to be released in the near future. Existing Apollo Hosting customers will have access to Total Solutions at no extra charge.

According to Apollo Hosting, Total Solutions is designed to provide customers with all the tools they need to design, launch, host and market a Web site. "It is everything a site needs to get off the ground in a single complete plan," the company said in a release.
Total Solutions includes Web hosting services, a Web site builder, a Miva Merchant Web e-commerce solution, a banner and newsletter creator, site submission services, site statistics, search engine position reports, Web calendars and online forums.
"People are looking to the Internet for entrepreneurial purposes, to start a business, or aid in the development of an existing business or organization. Simply providing some disk space and a few gigabytes of transfer only gets them in the door," said Tamara Field, president of Texas-based Apollo Hosting. "With Total Solutions, we are providing them not only that open door, but a real start in growing their online endeavor. Not only can they save money on design, but they can easily promote their new site, and have a means to effectively sell products to customers who visit."
