📅 November 15, 2002 - E-commerce software developer Miva Corporation (Miva.com) announced on Thursday that it has extended its Miva Everywhere strategy to Austin, Texas-based Apollo Hosting (ApolloHosting.com -> verio.com), which will begin offering the Miva Merchant storefront development system free with all its hosting accounts.

Apollo's lowest-priced account now includes 200 MB storage, 10GB data transfer, unlimited email accounts, free merchant account setup and free Miva Merchant, all for $19.95 per month.
The company says adding Miva Merchant to all of its accounts is changing the face of the company's hosting offerings as a whole, making Apollo a pure e-commerce hosting company.
