📅 March 29, 2004 - Altaworks Corporation (altaworks.com), a developer of distributed application performance management software, announced Monday that it has named a veteran of venture-backed technology companies as its director of regional sales for New England.

Alan DiPietro will be responsible for growing Altawork's customer base and fostering new channel partnerships. DiPietro was selected because of his experience in sales management, channel sales, strategic partner management, high-tech marketing, and operations. DiPietro has held key positions with a range of IT companies, such as FireStar Software, Microsoft, Unisys, Interliant, net.Genesis, Extension Technology, and the nation's first commercial email vendor, Western Union EasyLink.
