📅 October 16, 2006 - Online backup service provider Mozy (mozy.com -> carbonite.com) announced on Monday it has moved into one of Consonus' (consonus.com) tier 4 data centers in an effort to provide a more reliable service. Mozy's rapid growth over the past year has caused the company to seek out Consonus (consonus.com) to improve its data center solutions.

Mozy's petabyte data center and online applications are being housed and monitored within Consonus' facility located in West Jordan, Utah. Mozy decided to relocate to Consonus' facility for its high security and 100 percent uptime guarantee.

Consonus says it offers a combination of security expertise, best practices, and disaster-proof data centers and technology systems, ensuring that critical business information and computer systems are constantly managed, protected and running.

The data center solutions provider says it has fault tolerant data center facilities in several locations across the US, delivering safe, secure, and reliable colocation and managed hosting services to businesses of any size.
