📅 - A survey done by Pantheon revealed that many agencies are planning to increase their WordPress project budgets for 2016. This is in response to the growing traffic WordPress sites are receiving.
The survey was done in November 2015 and covered 323 of the WordPress developers in Pantheon's network of 2,000 agencies. They found that over 70% of the agencies they surveyed expect their WordPress site traffic to grow this year. .

📅 - Amazon Now Offering Free Security Certificates - Amazon, a cloud hosting giant, recently announced they will offer free Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TSL) certificates. Both of these security certificates offer an additional layer of security for websites.
Most cloud hosting providers offer the same TSL and SSL certificates for up to $50 per year. The certificates will be available through the Amazon Certificate Manager and currently are only available in the US East region for Amazon.
