Jan, 2016 : Amazon Now Offering Free Security Certificates
📅 - Amazon, a cloud hosting giant, recently announced they will offer free Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TSL) certificates. Both of these security certificates offer an additional layer of security for websites.
Most cloud hosting providers offer the same TSL and SSL certificates for up to $50 per year. The certificates will be available through the Amazon Certificate Manager and currently are only available in the US East region for Amazon. However, they are working to make them available more generally. .
