We have been with that company since 2003 and found it to be ok for the first years. But within the past 2 years, that company has become a ghost town. There is absolutely NO one to contact there. Their phone service is not working. They advertise a 24/7 chat service - that too has gone wayside. We cannot receive emails anymore and are loosing business by the minute. The worse company on the market. Do NOT get involved with them.

KEEP AWAY FROM ADAPTIVE.NET!!! They are the worst provider, no support, no phone contact, no chat, email down all the time. I had to switch because my customers could not get through to me on email. I lost a lot of business.

A customer of mine cannot get a domain transferred from them - they are fighting us on every front. We are trying to wrestle hosting and domain from them, and it is impossible to get any support (which is why they want to transfer it). Stay away from these guys!!

absolutely ridiculous. Good luck getting control of your domain. Impossible to contact support, literally. Does not look like there is ANY way to get an EPP code. They literally ignore or refuse support requests.

They are a reseller for "enom"

You can't call adaptive.net, and if you want any real help or talk transfer on the life chat they disconnect on purpose. I am surprised how bad this company is.

IF their automated way of sending EPP code fails or if you need to use it again... good luck..

I simply can't change the DNS servers in their backend. They show changed but their own WHOIS link shows them unchanged a week later. Their own DNS server shows them wrong. I can't get an EPP code to transfer.

I have used Adaptive for my provider for almost ten years. For some time there was no issue.
In the last several months, I have had recurring issues. My email is set up with an alias and I've been down four times in the last four weeks. There is no telephone number to respond to and no one will help, either through their live chat or support tickets.
I guess I don't have a choice but to move on.

I have been a customer of adaptive.net for nearly 8 years, but that is going to change. I'm fed up with e-mails of mine being rejected by recipients because my host is on a blacklist of spammers. I'm fed up with not receiving any acknowledgement of my requests to take action to get off the blacklists. I'm fed up with my e-mail server regularly running out of capacity and thus not being able to reliably receive messages.

At one time, I would have recommended them; not any more, though. I see from the other opinions that I am not alone in my assessment of them.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Do not under any circumstance buy their services... You will regret it I promise you. I have hosted with them for 10 years and the service is worse every year. I don't get frustrated much but when they ignore your emails, remove all phone support, and don't even reply to you in their chat "support", I just want to throw a stapler at my monitor. Please save your monitor, save your sanity, save your business. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Probably the worst host on the planet!!!! I have been been a customer for over 5 years and they have progressively gotten worse. They cost us probably over 20,000 atleast in sales this Christmas season our email had been down for almost a week and get this our site is still down (over a week now ) they will not respond to emails or calls it is totally diheartening for our business we are in the progress of changing hosts what a bad time of year for a host to be unreliable. BEWARE OF THIS HOST!!!!!!

I have had numerous web sites hosted with adaptive, and the experience has been progressively bad. There is no way to contact anyone in a support role and their domain registration information appears to be fake (at least the phone number is anyway).
Sometime in mid 2006 I discovered that a third part site owned by adaptive called "gumyguide.com" was setting third party cookies for visitors to my web sites (the cookies were frome domains such as "breast-enlargement.gummyguide.com" etc.).

Pretty crappy host - I can think of no reason why anyone contemplating hosting with adaptive.net would give them any money.

Adaptive.net is the most difficult business I have ever worked with. They never reply to messages, and they are virtually impossible to reach -- messages to "host master" are auto-responded stating they won't reply. Billing changed the billing cycle without notifying me, the customer. Billing charged for unauthorized services, again, without notification. Now that I decided to leave, they won't release the domain to the new registrar. They won't process payments (I've been waiting for days for them to process a credit card transaction). Adaptive.net never inquired about my satisfaction -- or any matter -- in the six years I used them as a hosting service; yet, while a customer, they never missed a recurring billing. The primary reason I'm leaving is because of high cost and unreliable service. Absolutely horrendous experience with this host. At one time we had three dedicated servers hosted with them and managed them ourselves.

After extensive attempts to contact support personnel, we were not able to speak with anybody by phone in two years. We weren't trying to contact them for basic stuff, we were trying to figure out why the network was down for entire days and when it would be back up. We know how to manage our servers but when their network is unavailable, there's nothing we can do. Don't bother calling their number, they never answer.

When we left we notified them on the 15th that we wouldn't renew after the end of the month. We had ALREAY PAID for service through the end of the month but they shut our servers down on the 20th with no corresponding refund of the unused service. Again, tons of attempts to contact them were unsuccessful.

I honestly do not understand how they are in business.
