😁 I moved my VPS from a major hosting company to HostHatch a few weeks ago. My site receives 20-30k users/month (according to Google Analytics) plus search engines and malicious bots, so performance was crucial. I compared a variety of hosts but found HostHatch to give the most bang for the buck. Their in-house made hosting panel is easy to use. I had one support ticket about opening the mail port, which they literally did in less than two minutes. The site has been performing flawlessly since the start.

😠 Terrible when using HostHatch, the support staff abuses power, arbitrarily suspended the server will delete all customer data, not allowing customers to back up data. These are rude arrogant staff who make threats.

The SSD VPS plans, similar to other other locations, come with a healthy amount of resource combination including large amounts of bandwidth compared to other companies in the region. HostHatch's bandwidth pricing will remain constant with it's other locations and will not increase which makes it a perfect fit for companies looking to target the Australian audience but have not been able to get close due to the high bandwidth costs.

Been hosting with them since the last 6 years. There have been ups and downs during that time, but honestly we couldn’t ask for anything better. We deployed our servers in their Amsterdam location to begin with, and now have servers with them in Stockholm, Oslo and Vienna too.

😁 I've been using HostHatch for 3 VPSs for about 6 months now. I've had nothing but a good experience with them so far. I've opened a few support tickets and they were all answered extremely fast. They were also the very first host I got an email from about the vulnerability in the Debian 10 SolusVM template. I've got a lot of cheap VPSs at different hosts that I play with, but my serious "real" stuff I host on HostHatch because they've been so reliable and have had the best features and prices of any host I've used.

😠 SCAMMERS! They offer a "14 day refund policy" as per their terms but once you've paid they refuse to honor this. I filed a cancellation request due to their service not being adequate for my requirements. So it's my fault that their VPS do not have a basic feature (TUN/TAP) even if they advertise that they do? These scammers will try to get every dollar they can out of you. They'd rather respond with lengthy robotic paragraphs that mean "no refunds" (contadicting their own TOS) than give back less than $10.

😠 Stay away from this provider. Don''t ever purchase anything from them no matter the price or deal you get. They have the most unpleasant support I have ever talked to, they will do anything to keep you unsatisfied and prove they are right.
Their servers are quite ok when they are working, but don't expect that your VPS will be up/available as a server should be. They are very unprofessional and their technical skills are low. My VPS has went down and stayed down for several days in a row. Currently my VPS is down and can't be started since 5 days ago, support stopped to reply 4 days ago with a simple "we are investigating this issue".

😠 It honestly seems like amateur hour at Hosthatch. First the instance I deployed wasn't reachable or even pingable. This was admittedly quickly fixed by support after submitting a ticket, but then none of the provided credentials worked, for both the machine and their control panel website area. Attempting to reset password (as suggested by support without mentioning why the credentials they provided don't work) resulted in their site returning what appeared to be database errors. Some time later I was provided new credentials by email, which also did not work.
I can't comment on the actual VPS performance, because I wasn't able to even access it. Support reply reasonably quickly, but seem to be of little value in actually rectifying issues. After half a day trying to access a VPN instance that should have taken minutes, I'm ready to give up.

We cancelled our VPS'es (6 of them), due to the fact, that their swedish connection, on wich our servers was connected to, was constantly down due to DDoS.
Then these guys at hosthatch decides to terminate and delete our VPS'es, in some instances 15 days before the end of the paid period.
We have effectively lost our website, our client controlpanel, our backups etc.
Stay FAR away from the morons @ Hosthatch.com

I had open vps 3 for a year in sweden with hosthatch but now downgraded to the cheapest open vps 1 cause i got disapointed and in the process of moving on to amazon.
I am not acutally using this for production yet but for tests and just use it from time to time. Yet i discovered multiple times when the ssh by both ip and domain was not working, serial console access was not working, ping is working though. There is nothing in the perfomance stats that indicate it wouldnt work. I registered tickets about it twice with hosthatch, both times delayed responses indicated they know nothing about it, and going to do nothing about it. I dont care to register tickets anymore cause i dont belive they can help. The last time extensive downtime happened today and yesterday.

The issues you are describing can happen if another user on the same host server as you was abusing. It helps if you have an external monitor like pingdom on your VPS so we can see the exact timeframes of the issue and match it up with our logs.
But we do have much better monitoring now and issues like this no longer happen (as you may have noticed from your current/downgraded package). Our monitoring proactively takes care of such abusers in seconds or a maximum of a few minutes in case manual intervention is required, mostly it is not.
