I was suckered in to signing up for a .com with Netsol with a cheap introductory deal and over the years the prices are going up and up. Moving my domain from these incompetent idiots is the last thing I would think of doing due to my experience of their utter lack of technical ability.
My domain expired. I was not informed it was due for renewal. I logged on to the site and made a payment for 5 years via their website to get my domain back up and running. I am charged a "reinstatement fee" as a penalty for not being informed of the renewal. I am losing email and business at this point, so I have no choice. After making the payment I receive NO notification that the transaction was successful.
I call them. I am told that my online transaction failed and I HAVE to pay via credit card. No apologies. I get my card out and pay for another 5 years and again.. a reinstatement fee, my penalty for signing up with this people.

I have a lot of experience on the net purchase and this is the first time I lose money by fraudulent corporate transaction.... Never trust this corporation....

A person will spend precious time going through the various prompts to reach a customer service representative who ultimately will not be able to assist. Their is a glitch within their system that is taking down my website. The page will not be found for another 24 hours. This is horrible. This is the second time within a few weeks. As soon as I resolve this dilemma I am leaving Network Solution. I have been a loyal client for 5 years and I can't be that anymore.

I guess we ought to be grateful and feel incredibly secure, however the price we have paid for this has become unbearable. Due to not being able to deliver files to a client by the deadline, we lost a project and consequently that particular client.
We feel increasingly frustrated and feel embarrassed for having to apologize to our clients for their repeatedly denied access. The unreliable service makes doing our job impossible.
We receive no less thank 4 marketing emails from NS per week, yet we have not once been notified of an interruption of service. NOT ONCE!
Since NS outsourced the CS and TS call center to Philippines the customer service and technical support are now unbearable due to cultural (+other) differences. 70% of the call time is spent listening the representative robotically apologizing in every sentence and repeating the same sentence over and over again. Once again I stress, do not use Network Solutions. It will be a pain for you if you run into problems.
First, their tech support is nonexistent. The call center staff openly admit to not knowing how to fix any problem. They only act as liasons to forward your problem to "engineering", whom you CAN NOT talk to directly. It takes 48 hours for a message to get from the call center to engineering. Getting anything resolved this way is practically impossible.
Then, you try to cancel. They stall and delay every way imaginable. You have to keep calling back and going through the call center/engineering cycle, begging them to remove each of the obstacles they have placed in the way of your cancellation. Each iteration takes 2 days.
And here is the best part... if your Network Solutions contract expires during this time, they make you renew it before they'll let you cancel.
We were looking for a turnkey ecommerce package that showcased our products and allowed us to spend our time selling rather than programming. The $99 per month fee is all we pay, never a fee to any consultants, programmers, designers, extra bandwidth, commissions, etc. NetSol's team of programmers are constantly updating the site for us - no need for us to worry about that side of the business. They integrate everything for us - shipping, sales tax, PayPal/Google Checkout/merchant accounts.
This is not our first web site. We had another successful web site for 7 years and they went out of business. Part of the reason we chose Network Solutions is that they are a strong company that has been in business for 25 [read more...]
Terrible customer service !!
Fraudulent and dishonest company!
I had my account for 15 minutes, called customer service with a question (which they could not/would not answer, unless I gave them more money for web hosting). Then they refused to issue a refund!
I had to notify my bank, among others, of this corrupt company that I believe is located somewhere in China.
STAY AWAY FROM NETWORK SOLUTIONS !!!!
I have the the standard webhosting package...
I have to accept that my site is a personel website and it is not active like a bussiness website.
I have to say most webhosting sites gives unlimited space and bandwith which is not a problem for me .......This must be changed not to loose customers....
By the way... I'm happy with them....

Please stay away!
1. Their customer service sucks. They turn off the phones when a server crashes..lol.. who does this!
2. Their servers constantly crash, even with dedicated hosting. (we don't look for 100% uptime but we so expect downtime to be reasonable)
3. Changing company information is a horrible experience. The control panel is useless.
4. They are more expensive and harder to deal with than any other provider we have experience with. Rogers is by far the best, VistaPages and Yahoo are a close second. [read more...]
More stupid thing, there is a Technical Support link on their site, I filled-up the whole story in that and finally I was responded that I was supposed to submit the issue in their Express Service Request link and not in Technical support. OK I did that too, again I got a auto response, saying your problem cannot be resolved until you call us. Frustrated but I still called them. A lot of hold-times, and transfering call, finally the so-called support person said that I have noted down your issue and I will pass it to teh technical team. I got really frustrated with this type of support. And the worst part is that even then it took more than 10 days to resolve the minor issue.
I am verry DISSAPOINTED of them, they are not professional.
First: I payed for private registration of my domain and my name appears public on "whois database". I had to transfer the domain to goddady for a really private registration.
Few days ago they suspended my website without inform me. One day after this I recived an automated e-mail response. I really don t understant why they suspended my website.
I am still looking for a company host my website.
I advise all of you not work with them. You will lose your money

- works, then they change their policy or system and... does not work anymore
do not give credit on old plan if you switch to a new plan (sunk cost)
