😠 Stay Away to save yourself
I had 4 commercial sites (eshops) on VPSLAND.
At the beginning the server was crashing very often. NO COMMUNICATION at all. I just was waiting when my sites will come back on-air. (4-5 days later)
On November-2012 , i show my server down, and after asking them about this issue, i received a message (2-3 days later) saying that they decided to change my plan, to migrate to cloud servers (WITHOUT any previous NOTICE). My sites went offline for 5 days and the best .... ALL MY DATA LOST. Just deleted by them. Nothing else.
Damage : no orders for 5 days + many many many days to re-build my 4 sites + lost of all serious recently business-emails and other recently data.
Then i searched internet about them and i found thousands of victims like me.
SOMEBODY MUST STOP THEM !!!!

😠 Bye bye server...
I was a client for many years with vpsland until last week.I had a perfectly tuned windows vps server which didn´t need any maintenance whatsoever.Had to go to a hospital visit for a week and when I returned my domains weren´t accessible, weird.when I wanted to start a terminal session without success with my regular credentials same luck.THEY DELETED EVERYTHING, EMAIL ARCHIVES, PHOTO ALBUMS, DATABASES, EVERYTHING!!!!!
It seems that they sent a single email the 22nd indicating that they were going to migrate and the 25th everything was gone (never could read my emails ´cause I had no server).
Way to go smart businessmen, way to go...

I've been a VPSLand customer since 2006 and am now keen to use anyone but them.
I used my vps for hosting my email, so critical uptime wasn't a concern and I noted only a handful of outages over the years.
After a while I ran out of space and looked for an upgrade, they wanted me to cancel my account and create a fresh one with a new IP and go through the hassle of redirecting everything. I opted to just clean up and keep my existing account rather than add that hassle.
Finally, a couple months ago my vps went down. I couldn't access the server or the control panel. I tried getting support help and was given the runaround constantly. THey wanted me to confirm my support account for some unknown reason.
They kept telling me that the vps was corrupted and that I'd need to do a restore of a backup or have it reinstalled. The problem was, every time I suggested that I can't connect to the [read more...]

They're responsible only with fees incurred during the last 30 days. After we cancelled our plan, they wouldn't even reimburse next month's subscription fee that we pre-paid being on an automated billing option.

😠 I have Xen servers in VPSLAND, i have not up to 48 hours of downtime and all support team dont reply my tickets with solution.

We have detected spamming activity coming from your VPS due to which we had to block the access. Please provide us with an explanation on this and kindly grant us permission to completely reinstall your VPS to ensure that this issue completely ceases. We cannot restore access as this violates our TOS.
In addition, if it happens again, we will have no choice but to terminate your account with us and will have to inform the legal authorities for possible infringement.

😠 Hands down the worst experience I ever had with a hosting provider. Not only is their service terrible, my server crashed on a regular basis and when it was down, Vpsland would not fix it for almost 3 days. If you think that is bad, they over billed me and when I canceled my account with them and asked for my store credit in payment the refused. Stupid host, bloody rip off. Do not use.

😞 I've been use VPSLand for several months and everything was more or less ok. There were 2-4 hours downtimes from time to time, but I think it's ok considering the prices.
But, if you want something from support, prepare yourself to wait for days or even weeks. Here's my horrible story:
Once I decided to upgrade my Linux XL plan. I ordered upgrade to their XL-256, paid for it and in a couple days I had 256 RAM on that VPS. But due their strange marketing things they should provide 384 Mb of RAM on that plan, not 256.
Ok, I wrote them about this mistake and again in a couple days I had 384 Mb of RAM. But! The VPS was down. I tried to reboot it with their XEN Panel, but got the message: "Could Not Start Vps, Reason: Error: I need 393216 KiB, but dom_min_mem is 200704 and shrinking to 200704 KiB would leave only 304284 KiB free."
As far as I can understand my VPS now just can't fit into server's memory.
So, I asked them to fix it, I said that it will be ok if they cut the [read more...]
