😠 Screwed up my email and kept sending me a form response about smtp. I was NOT using smtp. Have a contact form. They could not resolve problem and just stopped trying and kept sending same form response. Without mail now for days. Should find another host I guess.

😠 Support tickets are responded every 10-15 days. My website was down 30 days because no one gives a f*, eventually got deindexed from Google. Chat support is worthless, they can't do anything, I have to wait for the Abuse team to respond my tickets, which means one answer every 10-15 days. Run like hell and don't look back.

😠 I have had numerous run-ins with their tech support/customer service (I think there are only two people that work here). This latest problem - and my first support ticket in 10 months - got me an attitude from Mario, who proceeded to talk down to me like I was ignorant about how hosting works. I've been building websites and using hosting since probably before he was born. I can take a lot of things, but arrogance from an idiot is not one of them. Their latest problem concerned me being locked out by their security protocols, which I don't need as I have a paid subscription to Wordfence. But he still thought it appropriate to "school" me on hackers, followed by, "Do your other providers offer this service?" "You want to get hacked?" No, I think I can drop them from the list of hosting providers that I will be using. Never had any issues even close to this with any other hosting providers. If you want customer service, you don't want Homepageuniverse, that's for sure.

😞 My prior webhost was acquired by Homepage Universe. Worked (as far as I know) without major issues until a month ago then email service stopped. Reached out to tech support they said it was on my end. Had my IT look at it and they said it was Homepage Universe issue. Homepage Universe found issue on their end finally then switched me to different server. Then my spam exploded to 200-300 per day. Requested "increased spam filtering" for a fee...worthless. Ask to speak with management and was told they would get a hold of me...never did. Leaving as I have zero faith in their service or support.
