HomepageUniverse is a long-running U.S. hosting company active since 1996, and the catalog is much broader than a simple shared-hosting storefront. The site is essentially English-only, prices are shown in USD, and the service range covers shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, reseller hosting, reseller VPS, reseller dedicated servers, domain registration and transfers, personalized email / DomainMail, Microsoft 365, Office 365 enterprise plans, SSL certificates, site builders, SEO services, and bundled web design.The hosting side is split between generic infrastructure and application-specific managed stacks. Alongside standard shared, VPS, and dedicated plans, there are dedicated product lines for forums, blogs, e-commerce, and CMS deployments. That includes software families such as vBulletin, XenForo, WordPress, B2evolution, Magento, osCommerce, Joomla, and Drupal. Those managed plans regularly bundle LiteSpeed, R1Soft backups, migrations, control panels, and hands-on management instead of leaving everything to the customer.
The business also puts a lot of emphasis on convenience. Instant or fast setup, bundled website builders, migration assistance, domain add-ons, email tools, and private-label reseller options are all part of the package. The reseller side is especially broad, since it goes beyond ordinary shared reseller plans and extends into private-label VPS and dedicated resale with custom DNS and bundled domain-reseller access.
One thing that stands out is how much legacy and modern info coexist in the same catalog. On one hand there is cloud language, VMware, Virtuozzo, clustered storage, and managed Microsoft 365 migrations. On the other hand, the dedicated configurator still exposes several very old operating system options and some older product language. That makes HomepageUniverse look like a provider with a very deep legacy catalog that has been expanded over time rather than rebuilt from scratch.

😠 STAY WAY. I have been a customer of theirs for many many years going to back 2015 before they were Homepage Universe. I run a Xenoforo web forum with about 2M pageviews a month. The service went slightly downhill after they became Homepage Universe, but I could live with it. Recently around 2025/2026, they suddenly experiencing mystery outages, including inability to reach their support website. I would get texts from friends telling me the site was down!
Recently, they freely "upgraded" me from VPS to a dedicated server, but broke the ability to attach images in the Xenoforo forum. Evidently they deleted my old VPS so I cannot roll back - they gave me two days to test - and explained "well, we didn't hear back from you". I opened up a support ticket to fix the attachment issues, but it seems the techs do not know how to fix the issue. During this process, Homepage Universe experienced another one of their "mystery" outages. I've had enough. I am a patient person, having dealt with their OK service for the better part of - years, but this is just nonsense.
Finally, to add insult to injury, I was just notified that my old VPS was deleted because I did not get back to them in two days (considering the evening before, the VPS was still up ... before their support page outage). As of now, they cannot fix the issue with the dedicated server nor restore my old VPS.
I will be moving my forum to better provider.
