😠 disappointed in customer service
Mostly happy with service until this past 2 weeks. I wonder if they are still in business as there is no one to take my calls or reply to my e-mails. This is serious as I rely on the web site I have hosted through them. If nothing is done by the end of today I will be forced to find another server.

😁 ElectricKitten is great! I have been with them for almost 2 years now. I started on the babykitten plan which is one of their shared hosting plans. I have since grown and now have several sites getting good traffic so it was time to upgrade to a VPS. The transition was smooth and quick and everyone there was very helpful. Ill be a customer for life if they keep this up!!

😠 DO NOT HOST YOUR SITE WITH ELECTRIC KITTEN!!!! I am John Strikwerda, owner of the site ehMac.ca. I have *REPEATEDLY* requested to Electric Kitten that they remove the testimonial off their website, yet they refuse to do so. (I used to host with them over 5 years ago when they were under a different ownership) The last slew of positive reviews on this review site are probably from Electric Kitten. If you look down about 5 reviews, you'll see "someone" has copy and pasted my testimonial back from 5 years ago, and posted it as me. I DID NOT POST THAT POSITIVE REVIEW!!! This is a copy and paste of the same review on their site that they refuse to remove.

😁 Like most reviews... I am an IT manager. I hosted with many other providers, till I landed on EK after a referral from a friend and current client. Support is fast when I needed it (rarely) and the service is very good... Nothing out of the expected. I found dealing with a smaller company is much better and more personal.

😁 I've been with EK from the the start (2002) and have nothing to say about them but to praise the consistent excellent service and stellar support. EK went through ownership change, but the service did not change - if anything it got imporved.
I only gave a 9 for the cpanel - as I like to see more things added to it.
In general a great affordable hosting company. Keep it up!

😠 Used to host my site with electric kitten, and they sold my account to a new host. Subsequently, they have charged me for hosting and I have issued chargebacks through my credit card company. They were very rude via email, and refused to reimburse me, even though they no longer hosted my account. Effectively, they have stolen $120 from me, and many other ex-clients too.

I even tried setting up my own server and running it, but that was a nightmare. Sometimes, you just get lucky. I could not be any happier than I am with my site being hosted on Electric Kitten!!!!! 😠 Used to host my site with Electric Kitten with previous owners but have longed moved to new host. Have heard several reports from my members about having poor customer experience with Electric Kitten, and continuously charging customers after they cancelled. I have repeatedly requested from Electric Kitten that they remove my name and company name from their list of testimonials, but they continually ignore my request. I will be forced to have my lawyer serve them papers. If anyone has their legal mailing address, please post here. For me personally, I would strongly avoid Electric Kitten.

😁 Folks, this is what it's all about! The staff at Electric Kitten has bent over backwards for me since the first time I contacted them. If you want "unmatched superior service" for your online needs, then look no further! I was not happy where I was prior to finding Electric Kitten because other providers had limited support for the functionality my community needed and during my first contact with Electric Kitten I explained my needs and they supported me from the get go. There's nothing like talking to someone on the phone who knows exactly what your problem is and what's even better; they know how to fix it. The dependability, reliability and knowledge of EK definitely has me feeling fuzzy all over! :)

😁 After having tried three hosts that promised everything and in the end delivered considerably less, I thought that I was doomed to be part of the mass marketed and unexplainably complex world of internet hosting. Then I found Electric Kitten. I knew from the start that here we had people that cared about what they were doing! My initial setup confirmed this, as their explanations and procedure were simple and personal. SInce then, I have been extremely pleased with the logic behind this company and with the details in the service they offer.
