Host4Africa is a South African shared-hosting and domain provider operated by H4A Internet Services CC, registration number 2002/042268/23 and VAT number 4120222320. The brand has maintained an online presence since 2001, while the legal entity dates from 2002. It is a separate business from the larger HOSTAFRICA group operating through hostafrica.com.

The company has a long history in the South African hosting market. In 2007, H4A Internet Services CC successfully secured the transfer of the host4africa.biz, host4africa.name, and host4africa.ws domain names through a WIPO domain-name proceeding.

Its current hosting range consists of six shared-hosting packages named Tungsten, Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Rhodium. The packages cover everything from very small personal websites to larger business accounts requiring more storage, email capacity, databases, subdomains, and FTP access.

Tungsten is an entry-level personal-hosting package with 350 MB of storage and ten small email accounts. It is best suited to a basic personal page or lightweight informational website rather than a commercial project.
