📅 - Advanced Communications (advcomm.net), a developer of Web hosting automation software, announced today that it has released a Chinese language version of Hosting Controller (hostingcontroller.com) version 6.0, a multi-server Windows-based hosting automation platform.
The company said the solution allows hosts to build and manage Windows hosting environments quickly and easily. Hosting Controller version 6.0 was released in late October. At the time version 6.0 was released, it was available in seven languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Persian. Advanced Communications said it handles tech support for Web hosts who deploy the software. Hosting Controller version 6.0 is priced at US $500.

📅 - Netcraft Releases New Data, New Tool - According to the January 2004 installment of the Netcraft (news.netcraft.com) Web Server Survey, published late last week, Microsoft gained slightly in Web server market share on leader Apache for the first time in several months. Microsoft increased its share of the Web server market from 20.87 to 21.00 percent, an increase of 0.13 percent. The increase represented a rise in aggregate totals from 9,596,571 to 9,675,979.
