Dec, 2003 : WebCentral Picks Virtuozzo for Server Offerings

📅 December 22, 2003 - Hosting automation software developer SWsoft (sw-soft.com) said today that Australian Web hosting provider WebCentral (webcentral.com.au) has deployed Virtuozzo virtualization technology on its new virtual dedicated server (VDS) product.

SWsoft's virtualization technology partitions servers into virtual private servers (VPS) that function like stand-alone dedicated servers.
WebCentral's virtual dedicated server offering includes independent file structure, administrative privileges, application installation capabilities, multi-layered security features, Web server, database server, and multiple domain hosting capabilities.
