Jan, 2004 : Springboard Gives to Children's Hospital

📅 January 29, 2004 - Managed Web hosting and data center services provider Springboard Managed Hosting (springboardhosting.com) said on Wednesday that it is continuing its corporate philanthropy program with Duke University Children's Hospital and Health Center for the second straight year.

According to the company, it will be donating its luxury skybox at the RBC center for three events and giving away 50 tickets to a Carolina Hurricanes hockey game to patients of the hospital and their families.
Springboard said the program demonstrates its commitment to corporate responsibility and citizenship.
"Corporate responsibility through giving something back to the Triangle community is a priority for our company," said Chris Hanks, president of Springboard Managed Hosting. "We believe it is important to make an impact locally in ways other than simply contributing to the regional economy. This is an amiable relationship with Duke Children's Hospital because it provides patients and their families an opportunity to participate in a night of entertainment away from the medical facilities and the doctors. We intend to continue this program over the next several years."
Springboard operates data center facilities in Cary and Charlotte, North Carolina.
