Feb 5, 2004 : ValueWeb Launches Resource Portal

📅 February 5, 2004 - Web hosting provider Affinity Internet (affinity.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Wednesday that it has launched the ValueWeb (valueweb.com ) Solution Center, a resource portal for its ValueWeb customers that offers a variety of add-on, value added services from participating vendors.

Affinity said the portal is designed to help small business owners looking for help in growing their online business.
"We have always said customers want more than just basic Web hosting. We are clearly addressing this through our Solution Center," said Peter Chambers, CEO of Affinity Internet. "Affinity is leading the market by providing customers access to a full feature set. The Solution Center is a great example of a Web hosting company working with its partners to provide a full, feature rich, hosting solution."
The company said the resources available through the portal are being offered in conjunction with companies such as Macromedia, AddWeb, Thawte and Cardservice International, with which it has formed strategic partnerships.
Affinity, which operates the ValueWeb, SkyNetWeb, BigStep, HostSave and WinSave brands, said the portal will continue to be updated with offers from current and future partners.
