Feb, 2004 : MapServing.com Debuts Map Hosting Service

📅 February 12, 2004 - MapServing.com (mapserving.com) said Wednesday that it had launched a new Web hosting service dedicated to hosting GIS-enabled sites using Manifold Internet Map Server technology. Without having to operate their own server, users can create solutions with Manifold System and publish them to the Web using mapserving.com.

"We've had numerous customers contact us even before the site launched with requests for GIS-enabled Web sites using Manifold technology," said David Brubacher, co-founder of MapServing.com. "It's clear that more people than ever want to use GIS technology to create Web sites that better serve their organizations.
"Our hosting environment and enhanced IMS tools allow for very sophisticated functionality while retaining excellent ease-of-use. Everyone from hobbyists to large corporations will be able to painlessly publish and maintain their maps."
