Mar 23, 2004 : Ensim Upgrades Power Tools Add-ons

📅 March 23, 2004 - Web hosting automation software developer Ensim (ensim.com) has released an upgraded version of Ensim Power Tools, the company announced on Tuesday. Ensim Power Tools are an add-on product to the Linux-based versions of the Ensim Pro and Ensim Basic control panels that allows hosting service providers to deploy interactive Web applications.

The latest release adds seven new Web applications that help service providers offer specialized Web hosting plans. They include a blog or news system, Webcalendar, PHPList, Xoops, PHPLinks, PHP Supports tickets and Crafty Syntax Live Help. Ensim said all current applications supported by Ensim Power Tools have also been upgraded.
"Ensim continues to provide solutions that add value to hosting service providers and and Web site owners alike, giving them more powerful capabilities to enrich Web sites while increasing revenue and business success," said Steve Dauber, vice president of marketing at Ensim Corporation.
According to Ensim, hosting service providers can offer any number of the Web scripts available in Ensim Power Tools, allowing customers to install only the applications that they need. Ensim said this would decrease supports costs by eliminating the need for configuration and repair caused by the installation of inappropriate applications.
Ensim Power Tools is available immediately for a list price of $199. Free upgrades are available to existing Ensim customers.
