📅 - Terremark, a builder and operator of tier-one network access points (NAP), announced on Monday that it has added Voiceglo (voiceglo.com), a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications provider, as a customer. Under a three-year contract, Voiceglo will make Terremark's NAP of the Americas the anchor connectivity hub for its global VoIP infrastructure.

"A secure, reliable and scalable connectivity hub is essential for the operations of Voiceglo's growing VoIP services," says Michael Egan, chairman and CEO of theglobe.com, Voiceglo's parent company. "Terremark's NAP of the Americas provides a high capacity Internet exchange point with unsurpassed connectivity, among a multitude of carriers and service providers, delivering the quality of service (QoS) that VoIP applications demand."
According to Terremark, the contract has a base value of $900,000.
"As market demands continue to grow for systems that use VoIP, the NAP of the Americas has become the hub of choice," says Manuel D. Medina, chairman and CEO of Terremark Worldwide. "We are proud to add Voiceglo to our customer list and look forward to a long term relationship with industry renowned Michael Egan and his staff of professionals. VoIP providers, such as Voiceglo, have found the NAP to be a critical component of their global expansion plans and the partner for providing high performance connectivity to their customers."
