📅 April 21, 2004 - Performance-based marketing company FindWhat.com announced on Tuesday that it is powering Miva MarketPlace 2.0, a new automated pay per click online marketing service included in the release of version 4.23 of Miva Merchant, a browser-based e-commerce storefront system offered by Miva (miva.com), which was acquired by FindWhat several months ago.

The combined offering gives Miva Merchant users access to pay-per-click advertising services through the software's administrative interface.
"This seamless integration is the first of its kind connecting storefront 'product' information with performance-based advertising, empowering merchants to save time and money managing their advertising campaigns on the FindWhat.com Network," says Jason Williams, senior vice president and general manager of the merchant services division at FindWhat.com. "The speed at which the Miva and FindWhat.com teams were able to complete this product innovation is a testament to the vision, dedication and execution of all team members involved."
Miva Merchant is used by a large number of hosting service providers. The solution contains a shopping cart and includes inventory management, online ordering and payment processing capabilities.
"Online sellers already have excellent functionality through the various components of Miva Merchant to convert a Web site visitor into a buying customer," says Joe Austin, general manager of Miva. "Now with the Miva Marketplace 2.0 functionality, they have even more, with the power to drive highly targeted traffic directly to product displays in their online storefronts."
The software and services are available immediately from the Miva Web site and through Miva's network of hosting partners.
