May, 2004 : Keynote Solution Adds Measurement Points
📅 - Keynote Systems (keynote.com), a provider of Web performance measurement and management services, introduced an enhanced version of Keynote Application Perspective Outside Edition on Wednesday, a self-service, outside the firewall, Web transaction monitoring service that measures the "response time" and "success rate" for performing Web transactions from multiple geographic locations worldwide.
Keynote said Application Perspective Outside Edition has doubled the number of geographic locations from which customers can measure transaction performances, from 15 to 30. The additional North American geographic locations from which customers can monitor transaction performance now include Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Toronto. The additional international locations include Brussels, Helsinki, Madrid, Milan, Oslo, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo.
Keynote's Application Perspective platform is an end-to-end monitoring and root cause diagnostics solution for e-business applications. It includes Application Perspective for HP OpenView and Application Perspective Private Edition.
Keynote published data earlier this week that showed a steady decline in Internet performance that may be attributed to the Sasser worm which first appeared last Friday.
