May 7, 2004 : Regfish Partners with GeoTrust For SSL

📅 May 7, 2004 - GeoTrust Europe (geotrusteurope.com), a provider of identity and security solutions for e-businesses, announced on Friday that German domain registrar and Web hosting provider regfish (regfish.de) has joined its international affiliate program. As an affiliate, regfish will offer its customers GeoTrust's QuickSSL Premium, a 128 bit SSL certificate that can be issued to customers in 10 minutes or less.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome regfish to GeoTrust as one of our international affiliates," says Paul Tourret, managing director with GeoTrust Europe. "Regfish will no doubt continue to excel in the German market place, especially with the availability of internationally trusted GeoTrust certificates through its domain management console."
RegFish also offers other GeoTrust SSL Certificates, including the True BusinessID Wildcard certificate.
"The addition of GeoTrust SSL certificates to the regfish domain management console makes it easier than ever for regfish customers to manage all their Web site resources, including hosting, domain names and of course their SSL certificates," says Andreas Mallek, CEO of regfish. Jay Broder, the owner of CSI Mid-South, also known as Card Solutions International, claimed his company's Web site (authorizeit.com) went down for about a week after he refused to pay $10,000 to the sender of the email extortion threat. The email threatened to cripple the site if the money was not sent. Broder said in the report that he thought the threats were idle and believed the emails to be spam.
