📅 - European Web hosting and colocation service provider TeleCity (telecity.com) announced last week that it has entered into an agreement to provide infrastructure and hosting platforms for the customers of Dutch Web host IC&S (ic-s.nl).
Under the deal, IC&S has built a new infrastructure platform based at TeleCity's Amsterdam southeast data center facility. IC&S will be responsible for the installation, management and support of the hosting platform while TeleCity will manage the underlying IT infrastructure and provide 24x7 support and security. IC&S chose TeleCity as its colocation and dedicated hosting provider in January of this year. "Our move to TeleCity enables us to house our infrastructure in an excellent data center environment," says Eelco van Beek, co-owner of IC&S. "TeleCity always provides a very personalized service, including guaranteed 24x7 response times and a highly reliable remote management service. The presence of a large number of carriers in TeleCity data centers also helps us minimize networking costs as we are able to choose the best priced bandwidth available."
