📅 - Data center automation software developer BladeLogic (bladelogic.com) announced on Monday that Advertising.com (advertising.com), a marketing services provider for interactive advertisers, has deployed the data center automation solution BladeLogic Operations Manager to automate its data center processes.
Through the deal, Advertising.com will implement the entire BladeLogic suite for all aspects of IT infrastructure and application management, including server and software provisioning, application change management, remote administration, and ongoing patch and compliance management. According to BladeLogic, the deployment will allow Advertising.com to reduce data center costs, improve responsiveness and enhance server security. "Reaching more than 70 percent of all visitors to the Web, Advertising.com is a sophisticated advertising and marketing network that needs to be extremely responsive to its customers," says Dev Ittycheria, president and CEO of BladeLogic. "By boosting IT staff productivity and reducing server downtime, BladeLogic allows companies like Advertising.com to concentrate less on IT management issues and focus on what's really important, its customers."
