📅 September 13, 2004 - Network equipment maker Juniper Networks (juniper.net) announced on Monday that ARSYS (arsys.es ), a Spain-based Web hosting company, is significantly upgrading its network infrastructure with routing and security solutions from Juniper Networks.

The expansion, which includes a new data center to expand on existing points of presence in Madrid and London, is designed to facilitate ARSYS's growth and development strategy over the next six years.
ARSYS provides hosting services for enterprises, including TV companies, political parties, hospitals, local administrations, online journals and online retailers, as well as personal sites for individuals. The company hosts a total of 110,000 domains for nearly 70,000 different customers, and has 20 percent of Spain's Web hosting market share.
Juniper also offers Internet connectivity to many business customers. ARSYS will deploy a pair of Juniper Networks T320 core routing platforms at its data centers in Madrid and Logrono respectively. As part of its network evolution, it will also deploy two pairs of Juniper Networks NetScreen-5200 integrated firewall and virtual private network systems to secure the new data center in Logrono, plus a pair of Juniper Networks NetScreen-500 firewall and VPN systems in its Madrid facility.
