📅 September 24, 2004 - ThinkHost (thinkhost.com ), a New York based hosting company, said this week that it will give away hosting accounts, with a combined value of over $9,000, to progressive non-profit organizations.

"Having been involved with community groups for years, I understand just how limited their annual budgets can be," says Vladislav Davidzon, executive director of ThinkHost. "As part of ThinkHost's ongoing social responsibility commitment, my company would like to extend an offer of free hosting to US based, registered non-profit progressive organizations."
To qualify for the free hosting, applicant organizations must hold 501c3 status and have a primary focus on environment, grassroots democracy, peace, social/economic justice or human rights.
Each hosting package provided under this initiative includes 300MB of server space, 5GB of bandwidth, plus a variety of additional features, including site transfer and some programming services, if required.
