📅 - Telecommunications provider TelCove (telcove.com) announced on Wednesday it will provide Siegent's eNeighborhoods, Inc, a neighborhood information-based marketing solutions, with colocation and other telecommunications services for its data center.
The decision to consolidate eNeighborhoods' data center to a more secure facility was made for business continuity and disaster recovery purposes, says Telcomve. After touring TelCove's South Florida central office, eNeighborhoods' management was impressed with its "bunker-style," Hurricane Category 5 construction, an important consideration with the recent extreme weather in Florida.
Also included in eNeighborhoods' decision to colocate its data center was TelCove's record of reliability when transporting communications directly over its network infrastructure. eNeighborhoods wanted a single carrier that could meet all of its communications needs while offering 100 percent uptime.
"In light of recent and potential acquisitions, we felt we needed to make a move to both secure and expand our capabilities with regard to our data center," says Liam Dayan, director of information technology for eNeighborhoods, Inc. "The addition of RECHANNEL Communications and, most recently, WyldFyre Technologies means that we're in a position to be the best-of-breed technology provider for real estate professionals, which is very exciting."
