Dec 17, 2004 : VIA NET.WORKS Receives Nasdaq Extension
📅 - Web hosting provider VIA NET.WORKS (vianetworks.com) announced this week that it has been granted a second 180-day extension to regain compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price requirement.
In June, Nasdaq informed VIA NET.WORKS that it had failed to meet listing requirement because its stock had not traded above $1.00 for 30 consecutive business days. The company was then granted a first 180-day extension. It stipulated that VIA NET.WORKS's share price had to trade at or above $1.00 for 10 consecutive business days prior to the extension's expiry date in December. The second extension sets June 10, 2005 as the new deadline for the company's share price to trade at or above $1.00 for at least 10 consecutive trading days. Nasdaq said VIA NET.WORKS is in compliance with all other Nasdaq SmallCap Market listing standards.
