📅 February 23, 2005 - Celebrity Web sites, services and e-commerce software developer Paid, Inc. (paid.com) announced on Tuesday it will partner with SplitStream Technologies, LLC (splitstreamtech.com) to develop and maintain the ecommerce system behind rock band Aerosmith's Aero Force One fan club Web site (aeroforceone.com) and additional celebrity fan club Web sites Paid plans to develop.

The Westwood, Massachusetts-basedSplitStream, a subsidiary of Susquehanna Capital Management, LLC,provides enterprise level management for IT infrastructure, Webapplication development and data center managed services. Over the pastseveral years it has developed valuable knowledge of fan managementapplication development working closely with AF1 and otherorganizations.

SplitStream says it is one of the fewtechnology companies that have created commerce systems with theapplication development and network architecture capable of handlingthe high traffic volumes that occur during online ticket sales events.

The domain name for Panix was reportedly hijacked over a month ago from domain registrar Dotster (dotster.com ) and ended up registered with Melbourne IT (melbourneit.com.au).
