📅 February 25, 2005 - AT&T (att.com)announced on Thursday it has signed an agreement to provide anintegrated networking solution for Sweet Paper Sales Corp., a nationalwholesaler of sanitation and janitorial services. The agreement renewsand expands a long-standing relationship between the two companies.

AT&T will integrate Sweet Paper's 11US locations on an IP virtual private network while Sweet Paper's dataand Web servers will be housed at AT&T's Atlanta Internet datacenter. Sweet Paper can now migrate to voice over Internet protocolservices for intra-company communications which includes numerousadvanced features, including integrated messaging capabilities, voiceemail, bandwidth on demand and Web-based voice portals.

"Our strength is moving large quantitiesof goods quickly and efficiently through the system," says Sweet PaperVP Jeffrey Scheck. "We can not survive with out a reliable, secure andefficient network."

Sweet Paper can monitor the performanceof its network and application through the secure AT&T customerportal, AT&T BusinessDirect, which provides operationalefficiencies including 24/7 online access to real-time reports onnetwork performance and direct connection to trouble managementsystems.

The domain name for Panix was reportedly hijacked over a month ago from domain registrar Dotster (dotster.com ) and ended up registered with Melbourne IT (melbourneit.com.au).
