📅 September 19, 2005 - Web hosting provider Brinkster (brinkster.com ) announced on Monday that it will reward the signup of its soon-anticipated two-millionth customer with a prize.

The privately-held company, which has provided free and paid Web hosting services for nearly six years, expects its two millionth customer to arrive in late September.

The lucky customer will have a choice between a Sony PSP and an Apple iPod Nano, as well as two years of free Web hosting and a featured spot on the Brinkster Web site.

"This milestone is important because it is reflective of our strong customer growth as we continue our commitment to offer the best service at the best price," says Jared Stauffer, president and CEO of Brinkster.
