📅 October 3, 2005 - Web hosting provider Brinkster (brinkster.com ) announced on Monday that after nearly six years of offering free and paid Web hosting services, it signed up its two millionth customer on September 29. Brinkster will celebrate the significant occasion by rewarding its two millionth customer - Christopher Lee of Dayton, Ohio - with a selection of gifts. "This milestone is important because it is reflective of our strong customer growth as we continue our commitment to offer the best service at the best price," says Jared Stauffer, president and CEO of Brinkster.
Lee selected the Sony PSP over the Apple iPod Nano. He will also be featured on the Brinkster Web site, and will receive two years of free Professional Package Web hosting. Established in 1999, the privately held Brinkster Communications Corporation provides Web hosting services to customers in over 130 different countries worldwide.
